Presence check on conveyor belt
Task
A conveyor belt on which grain and pellets are conveyed is to be checked for the presence of material. The conveyor section is completely enclosed; the material arrives with fluctuations. In the spaces in between resulting from the fluctuations, the material is only 2 to 3 cm high.
Solution
An ultrasonic barrier is a fast, reliable and, at the same time, cost-effective solution for this. After the teaching process, the hysteresis is artificially reduced by reducing the distance between the ultrasonic barrier and the conveyor belt.
