Fill level measurement in silos with solid materials
Task
Fill level detection in silos additionally combined with level detection when the min/max value is reached for controlling the material feed.
Solution
Using an ultrasonic sensor with analog output, it is possible to determine the exact fill level. Using the window function, the digital output of the sensor can be configured in such a way that the sensor switches whenever the value goes above the maximum or below the minimum.
