Monitoring continuous movement
Task
Tearing of edge bands is to be monitored in the continuous production of edge bands.
Solution
A switching motion sensor monitors the continuous conveying of the edge bands. The continuous profile is wound onto a roll. If the profile is torn off, this must be detected. If the continuous profile does not tear, no movement is detected, and the system remains switched on.
