Counting small parts before packaging
Task
In a foil packaging machine, various small parts are packaged in plastic bags. The process has to be monitored constantly to ensure the corresponding number of pieces per bag.
Solution
To ensure the correct number of pieces in the individual bag (recipe selection), our frame light barriers are used in the feeder. These provide the advantage of sensitivity adjustment with a potentiometer, which makes them easy to start up. Both small and large parts can be detected reliably. The high function reserve due to the dynamic evaluation process provides high insensitivity to dirt.
