Checking cable cores for presence and sequence
Task
In cable production, the individual cores are fed to the manufacturing process in different colors. All colors must be checked for their presence and partially for the correct sequence of colors.
Solution
The di-soric color sensor differentiates even minimal nuances in color thanks to its adjustable color tolerance. The sensor processes a color sequence according to the color table. The sequence starts with the detection of the first color table entry. Any further detection is contingent on detection of its predecessor in the table. The optimum result is achieved if the working distance between fiber-optic cable and target is very low.
